Week One | Wine 101: Learn about the factors that influence wine, fundamental wine language, the core components of wine structure, and what it means for wine to be balanced. After just this first lesson you will be looking at wine through a new lens and have a foundation to experience wine more deeply. (One bottle)

Week Two | Deductive wine tasting: Take your wine 101 class into the glass and taste what you learned in week one. Feel comfortable discerning tannin, acidity, alcohol and sugar in wines. Know what you are tasting in wine and how the structural elements lead to balance or imbalance. Now you’re equipped with the tools necessary to recognize good wine. (Three bottles)

Week Three | Old World v New World: Learn the important wine regions and grapes. Nerd out on the most classic v less storied wine regions and why they are equally exciting. This will help establish your expectations for how honest wine should taste. (Two bottles)

Week Four | Guided Blind Tasting: Let’s put your knowledge to the test. Keep in mind blind tasting is extremely difficult and it is something the best sommeliers don’t always get right. However, we are confident you will surprise yourself on this step by step, guided version of a blind tasting. (One bottle)
